Definition of Happiness
The definition of happiness can be described in a million words. Being with someone who cares for you and treats you with dignity can mean all of the happiness in the world. It can make a person feel loved, wanted and to feel like they are somebody. A happy soul will create a wonderful mind.
Travel With Alaska in Mind
My first stop would be to visit the “Morris Thompson Culture and Visitors Center.” The visitor center is full of information and can help your visit go smoother. You will learn more about Alaska and some of its history. You will find help from the staff on-site to help you with any questions that you may have. So, while you are in Alaska, your trip will be sure to be the “trip of a lifetime.”
View the “Northern Lights.” The sky is extravagant and glazed with beauty. This was one of my favorites. Something different than what I am used to seeing in the South. Staying at the cabin I was able to view the northern lights all snuggled up and warm.
Have you ever wondered what the “North Pole” really looked like? Or even wondered what the beauty of Alaska really looked like? The North Pole is only twenty minutes from Fairbanks, Alaska. What makes it even more fascinating is Christmas is all year around at the North Pole. When you take that admiring drive on “Santa Claus Lane,” you will be sure to see streetlights that look like candy canes, the twinkling lights of holiday displays and many holiday displays of buildings. Be sure to include in your itinerary to visit the “Santa Claus House.” Here you will find holiday inspired gifts and be able to take your photo.
Regardless of where you visit in Alaska, you will sure see jaw dropping scenery from all around. From mountains to the wilderness, to fishing to just discovering Alaska, you will be glad you will be happy that you made memories to cherish a lifetime.
Mental Health Disorders
December 13, 2023
Several years ago, I was diagnosed with "Generalized Anxiety Disorder". This was the first time I was ever diagnosed with any type of mental health disorder. Certain people could come around me and set off an anxiety attack.
It was like having a bad vibe about the person, even if they weren’t talking to you. I would start crying and having bad attacks. Not wanting to be medicated for it, my doctor did so anyway.
Later on in life, tragic things would happen, causing me to feel like I was having a heart attack and even feel like I am dying. During this time, it had got so bad I had to start talking to a counselor. I was diagnosed with new mental health disorders (post-traumatic stress disorder, and a severe depression disorder). Now I’m suffering with these new disorders plus the generalized anxiety disorder.
Having the mental health disorders and trying to find new techniques daily to cope with what sets them off is a hard task. I started a book called "My happy book". In this book I would put pictures of who made me happy and listed names of the people and places that made me happy. Every time I would get depressed, I would look at this book and remind myself of what really made me happy. I also hung pictures on a certain part of the wall in the room that I stayed in most often.
Make a happy book, a photo album, write down your thoughts in a book and write how you are stronger and will overcome the obstacles that stand in your way. Months later, look at how far you have come and keep going.
Now Im here today telling my story in hopes of helping others.
